Marcou Chamfering Plane
**New Hardware** Recently the Marcou Chamfer plane got an upgrade. The stainless steel screws are now perfectly knurled brass. Providing lots of grip to tighten and loosen the sides when making adjustments. The lever cap brass knob now features the same knurling.
Philip Marcou is a New Zealand plane maker, known for his incredible, custom-made hand planes. We're happy to welcome him to the Hand Tool Emporium and have a limited stock of his Chamfer Planes.
Based on a traditional Japanese model, precise chamfers can be made easily and repeatedly with this tool.
The plane body is Afzelia, with stainless brass hardware. The iron is 59-60 HRC hardened 01 tool steel, and the center section of the plane body can slide laterally to allow the full width of the blade to be used before resharpening.
